During the process we will also draught proof and service your window by fitting additional weights and fitting our specialist draught proofing insulation system which helps the sash windows slide smoothly, eliminates rattles and reduces draughts by 90%.
We can even supply and fit slimline double gazed units with heritage glass if you have a Listed property or are in a Conservation area. Please note that if you are in a Listed property or a Conservation area you will need to seek planning approval for any changes to your windows and glass.

We supply and install restoration glass to your sash windows which is manufactured using traditional methods so that you can still enjoy the character of older style glass with it's waves, bubbles and distortions for many more years to come. This glass keeps the charm and authentic character in old homes and buildings, and this style of glass can be found in historic buildings all over the country.
This replacement glass service can be undertaken as part of our draught proofing and servicing option, full restoration, or if one pane or more need replacing due to damage.
We have installed specialist restoration glass as part of a full restoration project on a Listed property, shown in the photo below.
We also supply float glass which offers a perfect finish and can be used if the period of your property allows for this type of glass.
Privacy glass is also available and may be required in windows which overlook streets or in bathrooms.
